Five great basins. Five grand packs. One land. War is upon the wolves of these supreme valleys. The larger percentage of these canines is divided into five main packs: Shadow Moon, Blaez, Olcan, Dyami and Exxyll. But the population of these huge prides is growing by the months; range of pack boundaries are decreasing. The sizes of the territories are shrinking drastically, the more wolves join the packs. This can only mean, that the little space left in the valleys will have to be fought for by the great packs.

Allegiances are formed. Battles are won. Fights are lost. Victory and defeat are in the every day life of the wolves who have fallen victim to the war. Now it is time for the Alphas to choose what is right for their pack, if they hope not to doom their pack’s existence. Minor alliances exist between certain wolves and prides, ensuring the victory by a higher amount. But small groups of wolves have isolated themselves from their former packs; creating groups, sometimes even rebellions. These exiled wolves are usually of stealth, strength, stamina and speed; the four S’s very essential to a pack’s fighting abilities.

Is it possible for the great packs to receive help from the missing wolves? Or are they to face them in a matter of life and death? Another great threat is the Exxyll pack, which consists of murderers, exiled wolves, old, young, weak, strong. They are merciless towards their former comrades, who so willingly banished them from the pack lands. One thing is for sure. If one is alone, there is little chance of survival. If the captors are merciful, they will let the loner join the pack, but if not, then death is certain.
